Lean Manufacturing Hub is a technical content portal dedicated to Lean Manufacturing, the Toyota Production System, Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma, and the metrics used to manage production. We write for operations, quality, industrial engineering, and continuous-improvement professionals who need practical, no-fluff content.

The portal’s content is authored by Vagner Soares, a Quality and Process specialist with over 20 years of experience in the automotive and metalworking industries, including General Motors and Dana. At GM, he also spent 8 years as a corporate educator and led a team of 14 operators in the launch of the Chevrolet Onix assembly line.
A Lean Manufacturing practitioner since 2006 (Kaizen, 5S, A3, VSM, TPM), he works with the core automotive standards and tools — IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, FMEA (AIAG & VDA) and structured problem solving — and is an internal auditor for ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001, currently studying VDA 6.3 (Process Audit).
Today, as a SENAI instructor and mentor in Brazil’s Brasil Mais Produtivo program, he delivers consulting, training and audits for 50+ companies, with projects in defect reduction, productivity gains and certification — work recognized with a 2025 highlight award. His edge is combining technical depth in quality and processes with behavioral management: people development and high-performance team building, with training in Effective Communication (Dale Carnegie) and Coaching.
